Venue of this event will be CII Northern Region Headquarters, Sector 31, Chandigarh. Stage time of around 10 minutes will be given to a scientist for articulation of his/her Technology that he/she wants to sell to the Industry. In the audience will be people from Industry that want to purchase Technologies developed by the Academia. Open a new Startup company around your Technology

This event will be organized in front of sea of 600+ students who are searching for a Technology so as to open a new Startup company. Stage time of around 10 minutes will be given to a scientist for articulation of his/her Technology around which he/she wants a startup company to be built. Through this event, effort will be made to start new startup companies around Technologies developed by the Academia. Subsequently, in due course of time, efforts will also be made to arrange finances from Investors/Banks/Government for the new startup companies so created. ABOUT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRY FOCUSED RESEARCH – TEC 2023:

DST-Technology Enabling Centre (TEC), Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Research For Resurgence Foundation (RFRF), FPTU-Vietnam, NTU-UK and Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) is going to organize 1st Annual International Conference on Industry Focused Research – TEC 2023. Currently, businesses in India are facing problems in all functional areas of management such as economics, finance, HR, marketing, strategy formulation. These problems can be solved using engineering, information technology, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence etc. For this innovative ways / strategies / methodologies are required to develop and execute. There are many issues of industry for which industry needs technological solutions that academia can provide.
Through this conference, an effort is being made to assess exact issues / matters / concerns / pain-points on which industry wants technological R&D to be done by academia. In a subtle manner, this conference wants to motivate academia to innovate on problems of industry. The conference theme intends to explore viewpoints on different issues related to managing the business and sustainable development of the organizations in the present dynamic business world. Aim of this conference is to promote industry relevant research on problems of industry. This conference intends to provide platform to researchers who have researched on live industrial problems that deserve technological or managerial innovations. All papers presented in this conference must have clearly defined end-user industry and the origin of problem has to be some industry.

• You need to register your paper by September 20, 2023. Read Registration guidelines for registering your paper.
• Test the plagiarism by yourself before submitting the abstract / paper.

PAPERS (Technology Stream)

Paper can also be submitted in form of an Expression of Interest (EoI). Sample format of paper (Technology Stream) is available @ https://tecpu.in/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/METALLOCATANIONIC-VESICLES_EOI.pdf. Selection of papers would be based on an abstract of about 500-750 words. The author(s) should clearly mention Management stream or Technology stream along with the area of interest under which the abstract is to be included. The abstracts that get approved would be selected for final paper submission. All contributions should be submitted in English in Times Roman 12-Point type, 1.5 line spacing in A4 size page set up, with one inch margins on all sides. Final paper submission must accompany a certificate by the author(s) that the paper is his original work and has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere. The cover page of the paper should contain:

• Name of author(s)
• Professional affiliation of author(s)
• Address for correspondence with email and telephone
• Industry from which problem has originated (if exact name of company cannot be disclosed then industry sector should be mentioned)
• Target Industry sector for commercialization of Technology (if technological solution has been developed)
• Title of the paper (in bold)

CASE STUDIES

Selection of case studies would be based on abstracts of about 500-750 words. The abstracts must clearly indicate the objective of case study, details of the organization for which the case is written, major findings and implications. Only case studies of real-life organizations would be considered. The author(s) should clearly mention the area of interest under which the case study is to be included. Both academicians and corporate managers are expected to contribute to the conference case studies. The case study based on primary data should include a ‘No-Objection Certificate’ from the organization for which the case study has been written.

TECHNICAL PAPERS [In the form of Expression of Interest (EoI)]

Selection of technical papers would be based on abstracts of about 500-700 words. The abstracts must clearly indicate industry sector from which problem has originated, detail of technical innovation and major findings. Only technical papers based on some real-life organization would be considered. The author(s) should clearly mention the area of interest under which the technical paper is to be included. Both academicians and corporate engineers/scientists are expected to contribute to the conference technical papers. The technical paper based on some industrial problem should include a ‘No-Objection Certificate’ from the organization for which the technical paper has been written. POSTER PRESENTATION

It should represent findings from a current working paper related to the theme of the conference. The authors are required to display posters of their research papers and be available to discuss and answer questions during the assigned poster session. Submission of an electronic copy of the poster in PDF format is must before the deadline. Poster size and dimensions are A1 size 84.1 cm height X 59.4 width. The poster should be of in portrait layout only (not landscape layout). The author is also required to send the declaration that the Paper/Article/Poster is original and has not been sent elsewhere for publication or presented in any conference/seminar.

• Registration fee is required for selected papers.
• Registration fee covers the certificate, conference kit, conference proceedings, conference lunch, and tea.
• Registration fee does not include hotel accommodation, hotel pick up facility and airport transfers.
• Limited accommodation available on the University campus will be provided on first come-first serve basis. Accommodation charges to be borne by participants.
• No TA and DA will be paid to delegates for attending the conference.
• Registration fee is to be paid by a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Conference Chair ICIFR TEC 2023”, payable at Chandigarh.
