ABOUT PANJAB UNIVERSITY

ABOUT TECHNOLOGY ENABLING CENTRE
Technology Enabling Centre (TEC) is Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (GoI) sponsored project (https://tecpu.in/). The objective of TEC is to create an ecosystem for Technology development in the Universities and provide a platform to network researchers with other institutes, National laboratories and Industry. The focus of TEC is on providing an enabling eco system, process and support system. One of the TEC activities entails Mining of Technologies that are being created in local labs, assisting researcher in raising the technology's technology readiness level and advancing it towards commercialization. Another Major activity of TEC is assessment of technological requirements of MSMEs and share these with research community. TEC has posted some issues of industry and some technologies of academia at www.tecpu.in.
OBJECTIVES
- The present conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, consultants, research scholars and industry to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of emerging business/technological issues of industry and its solutions.
- To provide a premier interdisciplinary forum to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of emerging businesses
- To deliberate on the advances in theory and practice regarding emerging business problems and its solutions.
- To assess exact issues/matters/concerns/problems/pain-points of Industry on which technological innovations are required.
- To provide platform to scientists/engineers who have developed technological solutions
Dr. Man Mohan Sharma
The first Indian engineer to be elected as a Fellow of Royal Society, UK and recipient of Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Leverhulme Medal of the Royal Society, S.S. Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences and FICCI Award.
Dr. Sankar Kumar Pal
Recipient of S.S. Bhatnagar Prize, Padma Shri in Science and Engineering in recognition of his work in machine intelligence.
Dr. Manohar Lal Munjal
An elected fellow of all the three major Indian science academies viz. Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy, National Academy of Sciences, India as well as the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
Dr. Venkata Padmanabhan
A Computer Scientist and Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research India, recipient of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology for his contributions to Engineering Sciences.
Walter Vieira
A Certified Management Consultant, Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of India, and recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award for Consulting(2005) and Life Time Achievement Award for Marketing(2009).
Dr. Juneseok Lee
A registered Professional Engineer of Civil Engineering in California, the Fellow of EWRI (Environmental Water Resources Institute) and recipient of the 2021 EWRI Service to the Profession Award.
