My research aims to link water pollution (organic and inorganic) in order to identify the
sources and mobilization mechanisms of water contamination and relationships with human
health. Also aims to Economical and Environmentally Extraction of Rare Earth Elements
(REEs) from secondary sources.
Current research includes changes trace elements compositions of water and soil resources
due to human developmental activities mainly agriculture and naturally occurring
contaminants (Uranium, arsenic, REEs) and natural radionuclide in water-soil system in the
Northern Indian states. Assessment of rare earth elements from coal and non-coal strata in
North- East Indian states, Rajasthan, Gujrat and Tamilnadu and development of Rare earth
extraction technology.
